Bellaire has changed considerably over the years. Many post-war cottages have and continue to be replaced by large million dollar homes that are set back on leafy, tree lined streets. But many small cottages still exist, some in better repair than others. Bellaire is not a master planned community, so there are many different styles of homes lending to its characterful feel. It is not uncommon to build your own home on your own lot.
